Website Maintenance Services in Kenya

Your site, looked after, so you never have to think about it.

Updates, backups, security, hosting, and someone to call when something breaks. One monthly plan that keeps your website online and working.

Website maintenance that prevents problems instead of reacting to them

Websites don’t break suddenly. They drift. Plugins go stale, a security gap opens, an update conflicts with a theme, speed drops month by month, and nobody notices until a customer says the site is down or a form stops sending.

By then it’s expensive. An out-of-date site is the easiest thing on the internet to compromise, and recovering from a hack costs far more than preventing one. The same goes for the site that quietly stopped taking enquiries three weeks ago.

We run OnCare on every site we maintain. Updates applied and tested, daily offsite backups, uptime and security monitoring, hosting included, and a report each month showing exactly what was done. Plus a set number of hours for the changes you actually need, so small jobs get handled rather than sitting on a list.

What our website maintenance service covers

Everything that keeps a site secure, fast, and online, handled by one team.

Hosting and updates in one place

Hosting is included in every plan, so there's no separate bill and no arguing about whose problem it is when something goes wrong. It's ours.

Backed up daily, off your server

Daily offsite backups mean a bad update or a compromised site is a restore, not a rebuild. We test that they actually work.

Watched around the clock

Uptime monitoring, security scanning, and error tracking. If your site goes down at 2am, we know before you do.

Real hours, honestly stated

Every plan includes a set amount of hands-on time for edits and fixes. No vague promise of unlimited support that quietly means email replies.

How our website maintenance works

Three steps from handover to a site you stop worrying about.

We take stock of what you have

We check the current state of your site, its hosting, plugins, and security, and tell you what needs fixing before ongoing care starts. That’s what the one-time setup fee covers.

We set up monitoring and take over hosting

Backups configured, monitoring connected, updates scheduled, and hosting migrated with no downtime. From that point the site is on our watch, not yours.

We maintain it and report every month

Updates applied and tested, issues fixed as they appear, and your requested changes handled within your plan hours. Each month you get a report showing exactly what was done.

How much does website maintenance cost in Kenya?

Our plans start at KES 5,500 per month for Care, which covers hosting, updates, daily backups, monitoring, and one hour of edits. Care+ is KES 9,500 with three hours, and Care Pro is KES 15,000 with six hours plus a monthly call on site health and growth. There’s a one-time setup fee of KES 3,000 for sites we’re taking on for the first time. Pay annually and you get two months free.

Yes, in every plan. We deliberately bundle it rather than charging separately, because splitting hosting from maintenance is how problems fall between two vendors. When your site is slow or down, there’s no question about whether it’s a hosting issue or a site issue. It’s ours either way.

Content changes, updating prices or images, adding a page, fixing something an update broke, small design tweaks. The everyday work that keeps a site current. Larger jobs like a new section, a redesign, or new functionality get scoped and quoted separately. If something you ask for won’t fit in your hours, we tell you before we start rather than after.

Extra work is billed at KES 2,000 per hour, and always quoted and approved before we begin. We’d rather be straight about it than promise unlimited support and then quietly deprioritise your requests, which is what usually happens when an agency has overcommitted.

Yes, provided it’s built on WordPress or Shopify. We start with a review of the site’s current condition, and if there are existing problems we’ll tell you what needs fixing before ongoing maintenance makes sense. Occasionally a site is in poor enough shape that maintaining it costs more than rebuilding it, and we’ll say so rather than taking a monthly fee to keep something broken running.
